Documentary Wedding Photographer | Ireland & Lithuania
I focus on capturing your day as it naturally unfolds — real moments, genuine emotion, and the atmosphere you actually experienced — rather than staging scenes or constantly posing people. That doesn’t mean no guidance at all. We’ll still take important family photos and relaxed couple portraits, but the majority of the day is photographed as it happens, allowing you to be present instead of performing for the camera. The result is a more honest, timeless record of your wedding — not a recreated version of it.
Rather than promising a fixed number, I focus on delivering a complete, well-curated story of your day. On average, couples receive around 400–700 fully edited images, depending on the length of coverage and how the day unfolds. Every image you receive is carefully selected and edited — no duplicates, no filler, and nothing rushed. You won’t be left wondering where moments are missing — but you also won’t be overwhelmed with hundreds of near-identical photos.
You’ll receive a sneak peek gallery within a week of your wedding, so you can relive the day and share a few highlights straight away. Your full, carefully edited gallery will be delivered within 6–8 weeks. This time allows me to properly curate and edit your images, ensuring they’re consistent, timeless, and true to the day — not rushed or over-processed. Quality matters more than speed, and I take the time your wedding deserves.
Both. All couples receive a private online gallery for downloading, sharing, and viewing their photos. From there, you can also choose to add a professionally designed, handcrafted wedding album. Albums are a beautiful way to turn your photos into something tangible — something that lives off a screen and can be passed down, not just scrolled past. They’re optional, but many couples decide to add one after seeing their final gallery.
Yes. In the unlikely event that I’m unable to attend due to an emergency, I have a reliable backup plan in place. I work with a trusted network of experienced Irish wedding photographers who can step in if needed. Any replacement photographer would be fully briefed and professional, ensuring your day is still documented properly. On the technical side, I always shoot with dual cameras and backup equipment, so there’s no single point of failure on the day. Your wedding is covered — no matter what.
Yes. While my approach is primarily documentary, I always make time for important family and group photos. Before the wedding, we’ll create a clear, realistic group list, and on the day I’ll direct everything efficiently so it doesn’t drag on or interrupt the flow of your celebration. You’ll get the photos your families expect — without turning your wedding into a photoshoot.
Booking is straightforward and handled in a few clear steps. Once you’ve decided to move forward, I’ll send over a contract and booking form. A booking fee secures your date, and the remaining balance is due closer to the wedding. I only take a limited number of weddings per year, so dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Your date isn’t held until the booking fee is paid and the contract is signed.
Wedding photography in Ireland typically ranges from €1,800 to €3,500, depending on coverage, experience, and what’s included. My wedding collections start from €1150, with most couples investing between €1500–€2000 for full-day coverage. The final price depends on a few key things: I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all packages. Once I know your plans and what matters most to you, I’ll recommend the best option — no upselling, no fluff. You can view full details on my Pricing page, or get in touch for a tailored quote.
Most couples book 12–18 months in advance, particularly for popular dates during peak season (May–September). That said, availability can vary. I take on a limited number of weddings each year, so popular dates do book up early. If your wedding is coming up sooner, it’s still worth getting in touch — last-minute availability does happen from time to time. The sooner you enquire, the more options you’ll have.
Yes — I photograph weddings all over Ireland and am happy to travel for destination weddings as well. Travel within a reasonable distance of Dublin is included. For weddings further afield, any additional travel or accommodation is discussed clearly in advance — no surprises. Location isn’t a limitation. If the wedding is a good fit, I’m happy to travel.
